youngkeiffy@livejournal.comThe below should tell you a lot about me, but it seems like it doesn't really scratch the surface. Have I just painted a picture? Is it a facebookish look at me and my wonderful uber-banal personality page offering? I don't know. It's not meant to be at least. Hopefully an inventive and honest take on a much maligned theme.
Back to me. I think who inspires me should help paint a more accurate picture of myself than what I like does. I mean come on, do you think I really know me? I haven't known Sherbet properly for years and he probably knows me better than I know me. Back to my list...
Of those close to me; My wife and my daughter, my friends and family and it will bore you if I go into detail... Though in the wider, wilder world... Hunter S. Thompson, Arsene Wenger, David Jason, Johnny Cash, Emily Bronte, Jack Nicholson, The man who doesn't give a fuck, Simon Pegg, and Wayne Coyne, as usual in no particular order.
Yadda yadda - Hobbies: Hhmmm... Sport, music, socialising, confusing people, chemistry, Indie sensibilities, whatever excites me and takes my interest at anygiven moment, however fleeting. Oh, and writing, or course. I love unloading my brain.
---------------------------------------------------------
And whilst watching the opening scene to American Beauty, I nearly wrote "jerking off in the shower" in the interests field... Easily influenced I guess... First response is often the honest one though...
And finally another moment of honesty strikes me... too many are never a good thing... Emily Bronte was a stooge... not literally of course... I only felt bad that in my inspirational heroes list there wasn't a place for a lady. Now I am not a sexist, in fact far from it. Hopefully it's just the two rather large bottles of Becks which I've just pounded, but I couldn't think of a convincing female figure to add to the list. Answers on a postcard? Or, erm, hatemail?
And finally... note to self.... must... use... less... dots...
